A dream came upon me one night...a dream so vivid, I almost lived it. In it was a land I had never seen before and a mysterious tranquility enveloped it...the air smelled musty and yet there was in it the pleasantness of an enigmatic perfume. The ambience was far from bright, almost devoid of colour. Everything seemed to be bathed in the dull colours of sepia, immersed in eerie silence. 

Utterly confused, I looked about only to realise that my feet had no ground to walk upon...I was afloat on a cloud that refused to show itself. What place had I landed myself at I wondered...trying to gather my thoughts I began to find my way out when all of a sudden an army of beautiful, black, wiry letters began to emerge from the horizon. They seemed so majestic, so ethereal, so hypnotising that I found myself immobilised. As they began to come closer, all I could do was watch. Somewhere in the depths of me I knew that if I did not run I would be doomed. But I was not the master of me anymore. So I stood there and watched as they came closer...closer and closer until they engulfed me...

When I awoke that day, I had left the land of books but the land resides within me ever since. 

Having completed a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Master's degree in International Business, my love for art and writing continues to grow.
